Fishing Laws State to State

It is apparent that the fishing laws are different from state to state as you can see when you visit "Fisherman News". Some of these regulations are to restrict the size, amount and type of fish you are allowed to catch. Some states even also restrict what size you are allowed to keep.
Some states also have laws concerning nets and traps for catching bait fish and some states restrict the area where you can clean your fish.
You will want to check the laws and regulations, limits and licenses or permits that are needed for whichever state you will be fishing in.
