Down Memory Lane with Collectible Children's Books

Books are special treasures. They can lead us into great adventures, carry us to new and exciting places, or introduce us to famous people. Reading was a pastime pursued more often in earlier times and I'm sure we can all remember a favorite story we liked to hear or read.
One such book was "Bambi" written by Felix Salten and later made into a movie by Walt Disney. Collectibles n' Gifts mentions such legendary books of Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". And they point out that Classic favorites like these are worth quite a bit of money especially if it is a first edition.
